Marina & Sabir's Fourth of July Holiday Wedding
Marina & Sabir were married at Ursinus College on this past Fourth of July. The college, where they both attended and first met, supplied a beautiful backdrop for a wedding. Marina and Sabir both looked amazing! Sabir was a runner up for Esquire Magazine's best dressed competition this past summer and he definitely lived up to expectation with his handsomely curated suit, featuring a stylish yet inexpensive sports jacket from H&M. To tie the holiday theme into their day, we used sparklers for the bridal party pictures, everyone gathered to watch the great view of the fireworks display and Marina & Sabir exited to their guests holding sparklers and cheering them as they left! Thanks for letting us share in your special day!

I Can Only Imagine -Food for the Soul
We had a great Thanksgiving weekend even though it was just me, Doc and the boys. We ate, put up the tree, played games, went to a Christmas light festival and then ate some more. Trying to get in as much family time as we can since Doc is leaving Sunday to go work out of town for the next couple of months. At least he's getting off for Christmas. We'll also go see him some on weekends. Goodbyes are never easy, especially the final ones. We lost my father in law 2 years ago to cancer. Holidays can be a painful reminder. Doc would love to just call and chat with his dad. Someday there will be no more goodbyes. Hello will never end. I can only imagine.

Baby Doll
I thought I would share a little mini gown that was inspired by one of my Brides. I had previously designed a dress for a Brides niece, who was just 10 months old. The dress was a direct reflection of the Bride, with the same color scheme as the Bridal party and the same flow as the Brides. So, I thought it would be fun to design a dress for a baby girl that was also a mini-couture piece. This one is also made from silk and has a cute little tie to the back,which is also the same detail that my Bride had. Perfect for a destination wedding!

For inexpensive place cards:
Use free clipart from Graphics Fairy on cardstock. An old trick of the teaching trade is to outline with a magic marker. Just run your marker along the edge and it creates an automatic border.
Attach to a pine cone from the front yard, and there you have an almost free place card.
